Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box

As a mission of Brooklyn United Methodist Church we collecting shoe boxes with age appropriate gifts to share with children all over the world through the Good Samaritan’s Purse program.

Here are some details:

  1. Fill a box or two with age appropriate gifts Age appropriate Gift List
  2. Bring the box(s) to Room 18 (downstairs across from drinking fountain).
  3. Due Date October 20th and will pray over all of them during church on the Oct 27th. 
  4. If anyone needs more boxes or labels, they can email Pat Swanson at pathiawatha@hotmail.com.  Also, if anyone wants to make a donation to cover shipping costs of the boxes, they can send a check to BUMC and write in the note line that it is for Operation Christmas Child.  Each box costs $10 to ship.  Anyone can go to the website Samaritans Purse and click on Operation Christmas Child to see more information. https://samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/
