6:30 PM WOW – (Worship on Wednesday)
This worship event is tailored to the young people of our congregation but open to all. Our aim is to engage children and youth not only in worshiping God but in leadership of worship, with a strong emphasis of the relationship between Church and Home and living faith as a lifestyle that includes loving God and loving neighbor. The “talk” portion of worship is greatly reduced so we have time to engage in song, prayer, sacraments, and other rituals and creative elements. Deep Blue, Middle School Ministry and BUMY events follow the service. Come early at 5:30pm and eat as a family at the Loaves & Fishes free meal served in the Fellowship Hall.
Pastor Zeck came to us in 2015, bringing new life to the church. He is full of grace and good humor. His sermons cut to the core message of the Christian faith and urge us all to live lives of higher grace and goodwill. In other words, he is very down-to-earth and tells us how it is, which is good!
Associate Pastor Henry brings joy to everyone’s hearts. His happiness and love of Jesus shine on his face everyday.
“I believe that all human beings have a God given purpose. I believe my purpose is to spread the love of Jesus Christ to all. At BUMC, I am afforded the opportunity to fulfill that purpose. So at BUMC, I listen, learn, love, lead, and laugh.”
(Henry laughs a lot!)
